Drake was seen wearing an Alabama football sweatshirt before the college football national championship, which resulted in the eventual mocking of the superstar rapper. Some went so far as to accuse Drake placing his curse on the football team.
After the famed Crimson Tide was devastated by the Clemson Tigers, Drake became the ire of South Carolina football fans. The Canadian rapper has become a jinx of sorts for the popular teams he supports, from Alabama to the Kentucky Wildcats.
On Saturday night, however, Drake trolled all the doubters. The artist posted a picture to his Instagram stories that read, “To everyone that believes in the Drake curse, good luck tomorrow.” Drake was referring to the 2019 NFL Playoffs this week.
