So while we’ve been secretly clamoring for a Back to the Future remake starring Justin Bieber (yes we said it!), the film gods have deemed us unworthy of such pleasantries. But while there won’t a remake, coming this fall there will be a documentary called Back In Time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the cult classic that chronicled Marty McFly’s quest to time-travel.

The brains behind the film have come together for a tell-all that will explore how the film got off the ground, as well as sound off on its pop culture legacy. It will be released October 21 in theaters and will include exclusive interviews with director Robert Zemeckis, producer Stephen Spielberg, and stars Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson, and Christopher Lloyd. Maybe this is the first step to getting that Back To The Future remake off the ground. We can only hope!
